Detail Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival Ternate (-/L/D)
Arrival in Ternate airport, meet & greet with your driver and guide, afterwards transfer to your hotel.
Overnight at Villa Marasai*** (Deluxe room)
Day 02: Ternate – Tidore excursion (B/L/D)
After breakfast, we will take you by car to Bastiong speedboat jetty, cruising in half and hour to Tidore island. On arrival, you will start your journey by visiting Tahulla fortress, which is another Portuguese fort on a foothill near Soajawa village overlooking the city centre of Soasio and Halmahera ocean. You will then proceed to visit the nearby Sultanate Tidore Museum, Tore Fortress, as well as the Sultan Tidore Palace, and even if possible be able to meet the Sultan directly and have a little chat with him. Your lunch will be served at a local Restaurant.
After lunch, we continue to Gurabunga village. The village is clean and the locals plant some flowers which makes it even more beautiful, in addition to the surrounding trees. We will also visit Mount Kie Matubu to see beautiful sceneries of Ternate town and Maitara island. Down the way by car, we go direct to Tidore speedboat jetty to return to Ternate.

Day 03: Ternate – Mare Island – Filonga Island Snorkeling (B/L/D)
After Breakfast, Today we will do island hopping to visit two small islands surround Ternate.
First transfer by boat to Mare Island to visit Maregam Village – is a hilly island with some of the area is ramp low land that being used for settlement. The beach profile at this place is rocky and cliff, with some small area with sand. One interesting point from this place is taken from the Kahia Masolo; it more or less like dolphin bay, where there are numbers of dolphin that jumping around and just like greeting those who are in shore. Second island is Filonga Island – here you could do snorkeling assisted by the local guide. It’s a tiny island mostly looks like a private island with crystal clear water color, beautiful coral gardens and fishes. Lunch on the island (picnic or reserve by local villagers) Return to Ternate Island in late afternoon. Dinner at the town with your guide

Day 04: Ternate (B/L/D)
After breakfast our guide will take you around Ternate city. There are many historical sites such as: Kastela Ruined Fort as the first colonial fortification constructed, and Sultan Ternate Mosque, the largest mosque in the city and the royal mosque of the Ternate Sultanate, you also will visit Alfred russel Wallace house then Your lunch will be served at a local restaurant.
Next, we will go to Jikomalamo Beach, white sandy beach that spans approximately 100 meters and located in a sheltered bay, then to Mount Hiri where Australian forces took Sultan of Ternate and the family to escape from the Japanese during the World War II. You will also visit Batu Angus (scorched stone), an area left with remnants of lava eruption of Mount Gamalama in the 17th century. Interestingly, it is also a historical site that commemorating the death of a Japanese soldier who was killed by his parachute that did not open normally during his jumps from planes in 1945. At the end of the day, back to your accommodation, then dinner.

Day 05: Ternate – Airport (B)
After breakfast, transfer direct to airport to catch the flight to the next destination.
